Sacraments

Marriage  Persons requesting marriage here at Our Lady of the Gulf must contact the pastor six months  before the wedding.  You will be sent a form detailing all the paperwork and programs you need to complete and have in our office one month before the wedding.

Baptism Arrangements for Baptism can be made by calling or coming by the office. You will be sent a form detailing the the requirements.  This information must be in the office at least one week before the chosen date.

Religious education for children should be an every year program.  Do not skip years as this interupts the structure of the child's knowledge.

First  Communion and First Reconciliation These sacraments are offered through the Religious Education program. They are given in the second grade and the children have to have attended the first grade program as well.  This is a two year program.

Confirmation The Archbishop visits every other year to administer this sacrament. This is also a two year program.

Annointing of the sick  Sometimes called the last rites, we administer this sacrament anytime upon request at home or in the hospital.

Holy Orders  We do not have ordinations to priesthood or the diaconate here in this parish.  This note is here just to remind us all to pray for vocations.
